The 10 Day is a free daily NBA trivia game. We built it to be simple and respectful of your privacy. We collect as little data as possible to make the game work.

We collect only what's necessary to run the game:

• Display name — if you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard. This is optional and you choose the name yourself.
• Score data — your score, tier, hints used, and the date, associated with a randomly generated session ID.
• Session ID — a random identifier generated in your browser and stored in localStorage. It is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide a display name for the leaderboard.

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your game state, streak, and results between sessions. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you submit a leaderboard score.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the10day.com.

If you submit a score to the leaderboard, your chosen display name, score, tier, date, and session ID are stored in our database. Your session ID is a random string — it cannot be used to identify you.

Choose your display name accordingly — do not use your real name or any personally identifying information if you prefer to remain anonymous.

We use the following third-party services to operate the game:

• Vercel — hosting and deployment. May log request metadata (IP, user agent) per their standard infrastructure logging.
• Supabase — database. Stores leaderboard scores only.
• Anthropic Claude API — used to generate daily hints. No user data is sent to the API.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics tools.

We do not use cookies. All game state is stored in localStorage on your device.

The 10 Day is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
